Old School Pichingal is a space to support and spread the artistic creation, to assess the knowledge and the occupation farmer, and encourage respect for nature. This collaborative project was initiated in the year 2020 for the artist, her mother, family and the rural community, working from the here and the now, incorporating the land, the past, the communities and the species that have lived, live and will live, thinking about the very distant future, thousands of years. The oldest tree and largest in the Old School is a chilean palm (Jubaea chilensis), a species in danger of extinction.

The sense of this work is thousands of years old, where thousands of children of this palm replenish the world and to reverse the process of extinction at this time goes into acceleration. Behind this sculpture, with its branches falls, there's a growing community of caring for a tree, and its seeds, taking care of and developing a tissue of offspring.
