This work is related to 3 years of collective work community in defense of the East River Park, a park at the edge of the East River, lung, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan that is being destroyed. The park and its octogenarians huge trees dating back to 1930. The argument of the mayor's office is that to address the possible rise of the river, there is a wall-fill in the place of the park, this despite being next to the FDR, a highway to 6 lanes wide where it could be built that wall without touching the park. The struggle for the defence of the park escalated when the chain saws and backhoes arrived to obliterarlo. Since then many people have been arrested in civil disobedience as cling to the trees to prevent their felling. The date of October 2024, of the 1000 trees original there were only 200.
